The Disability Services Program is designed to assists qualified students with disabilities in acquiring reasonable and appropriate accommodations while supporting equal access to services, programs and activities at Ohio Tech. Students who seek reasonable accommodations should notify the Vice President of Education of their specific limitations and, if known, their specific requested accommodations. Students will be asked to complete the Accommodations for Disabilities form and supply medical documentation supporting the need for accommodation. Classroom accommodations are not retroactive but are effective only upon the student sharing approved accommodations with the instructor. Therefore, students are encouraged to request accommodations as early as feasible to allow for time to make appropriate preparations. Ohio Tech does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs or activities in accordance with the regulations implementing Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, 29 U.S.C. §794.
