Adjusting to college life takes a family who cares. At OTC, we care!

Our Student Services department is available to all future and currently enrolled students. From counseling on housing, academics and financial aid to personal matters and more, students are provided with a family who cares about them and their success.

At Ohio Technical College, you are not a number. You become part of our family, and we will do all we can to ensure your success.

The Student Services department provides a monthly newsletter to students updating them on current events, works hand-in-hand with the Student Activity Council to organize student activities, helps with securing discount tickets to local events, and provides a wealth of information on Cleveland.

Student Services also acts as a conduit for parents to find out how their students are doing and provides medical and emergency information to staff when needed. We look out for our students and provide them with the skills needed to become successful in life as well as in their careers.

January 21st    Monday, Martin Luther King Day, College Closed. 
February 18th    Monday, President's Day, Students off, College Open. 
March 29th    Friday, Good Friday, College Closed. 
April 1st-April 5th    Spring Break, Students return to class on Monday, April 8th. 
May 24th-         May 25th    Memorial Day Holiday, Friday and Saturday, College Closed. 
May 27th    Monday, Memorial Day, College Closed. 
July 4th    Thursday, Fourth of July, College Closed. 
July 4th-July 14th    Summer Break, Students off, College Open. Students return to class on Monday, July 15th. 
August 30th-August 31st    Labor Day Holiday, Friday and Saturday, College Closed. 
September 3rd    Labor Day, College Closed. 
November 27th-November 30th    Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, Thanksgiving Holiday, Students off.  College closed November 28th and November 29th.  
December 20st-January 5th    Students off for Christmas Break.  College open except for Tuesday, December 24th, Wednesday, December 25th, Tuesday December 31st and Wednesday, January 1st.  Students return to class on Monday, January 6th.
