1980 Chevy Monza

The 1980 Chevy Monza is a project car being upgraded by Kenton Career Center Automotive Instructor, Gary Carlson, II.  Gary has won 8 track championships at four different race tracks, been the #4 car in the country in the IHRA summit super series, and has been in final round appearances at 13 different race tracks spanning several states. Since he began competing he has compiled 83 event wins, 43 event runner-ups totaling 126 final round appearances and have accrued hundreds of top ten finishes.

Gary is hoping with the help of his students (11 currently enrolled at OTC), Ohio Tech and Edelbrock that he can make this car even more successful for the 2011 race year.
